British dub star Example has labelled Noel Gallagher as ‘the talent’ in Oasis after comparing the ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ album to the debut effort produced by Noel’s former Oasis bandmates Beady Eye.
Speaking to The Daily Star newspaper, Example remarked: “When you hear Noel’s album, and you heard the Beady Eye stuff, it’s plain to see Noel was the talent, the songwriter. Liam is a star and an amazing frontman, but the ideas were all Noel’s.”
Last week, Noel Gallagher was nominated for the British Male at next month’s Brit Awards, when he will go up against younger rivals Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, James Blake and James Morrison.
In addition, Gallagher will also perform live at the event along side the likes of Adele and Coldplay. It will be only the second time he has done so, after making a first appearance with Oasis at the 2007 Brit Awards when the band picked up that year’s Outstanding Contribution gong.

This geezer clearly has no idea what he is talking about he comes on to the music scene is a nobody and thinks he is the bollox, Yes Noel was a great talent and a huge part of Oasis but no one can say he was the only talent in Oasis, Without Liam Noel may never have made it people have to appreciate the band was Liams to begin with and as mardy as Noel can be I think even he realises Liam was a tremendous part of the Oasis talent he was the voice the talent and noel was and still is an amazing song writer but some people forget Liam may not have wrote a huge majority of Oasis’ songs but the ones he did write did very well amongst Oasis’ true fans. The problem with music today is everyone wants to listen to commercialised crap when have the time it’s not even about their music you probably read more about female artist’s in fashion magazine rather than about their music the only female artist’s that have not commercialised themselves to much is Adele and Lily Allen. Without Liam and Without Noel they never would have been as big…They need each other I just wish they realised that for themselves and for their fans!!!

you’re clearly offended by the truth that Noel received 21 negative reviews. Just accept it. I can tell you more you didn’t know: he reached the 28th place in the Usa chart. Despite doing everything to be successful there: recording the album there, using their music, making their videos, etc.

It seems like you are the one getting upset – They are two different types of artists. If you have ever gone to a Beady Eye concert you would see they are a great rock and roll band. Noel is a great song writer and plays the pop game well. Realty they are the best when playing together but they are great in their own ways apart. So take a breathe at the end of the day we still havegreat music to listen to.
