Bruce Springsteen has unveiled a series of US arena dates beginning in March and, in announcing the E Street Band members set to join him on the road, appears to have confirmed what we all already knew – Clarence Clemons is irreplaceable.

The E Street Band will consist of Roy Bittan (piano, synthesizer), Nils Lofgren (guitar, vocals), Patti Scialfa (guitar, vocals), Garry Tallent (bass guitar), Steven Van Zandt (guitar, vocals) and Max Weinberg (drums), with Soozie Tyrell (violin, guitar, vocals) and Charlie Giordano (keyboards) accompanying the group on the road. There has been no new saxophonist included following the death of Clarence Clemons last year.
