Noel Gallagher, Coldplay and Foo Fighters have all received nominations for the 2012 Brit Awards.

British band Coldplay were handed two awards at the European Festival Awards yesterday, including the marquee gong for Best Headliner.

The Kills have released a trailer for the Samantha Morton directed video for ‘The Last Goodbye‘, which marks the duo’s ten years together as a band, and can be viewed below.

Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has said he is ‘determined’ to be a part of the festival’s 50th year, and has also confirmed the headliners for 2013 are ‘already sorted’.

The Maccabees have revealed they were immediately convinced their second album ‘Wall Of Arms‘ could be bettered once worked had been finished on that record back in 2009.

Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell has said the band are likely to tour this year without Pete Doherty.
