Video: Rolling Stones Unveil Previously Unreleased Track

The Rolling Stones have released a new video for one of the until-now unheard tracks which comprise a part of the remastered version of their 1978 album ‘Some Girls‘.

No Spare Parts‘ was originally recorded for the ‘Some Girls’ album, but would never made the final cut. However, it is now one of 12 previously unreleased tracks which comprise Disc 2 of the re-packaged LP, and features an accompanying video which has been directed by Mat Whitecross, containing images of The Stones taken around the late-70s era.

‘Some Girls’ was marked out as a return to form by critics following The Rolling Stones’ golden run of releases between 1968 and 1972, and is now recognised as one of the last classic Stones albums.

The ‘Some Girls’ re-issue follows a similar remastered package of its 1972 predecessor ‘Exile On Main Street‘ last year. “We did ‘Exile…’, we did a lot of different takes, a lot of different cuts that hadn’t come out before, so we’re doing the similar kind of thing with ‘Some Girls’,” Mick Jagger told Spinner earlier this year.
