Liam Gallagher has said Beady Eye will ‘definitely’ perform Oasis tracks when they embark on their next tour.

Liam, along with Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock, formed Beady Eye out of the ashes of their former band Oasis when Noel Gallagher quit the group in August 2009. And while Noel has been happy to air various Oasis classics during his own High Flying Birds tour this year, Beady Eye chose to shun their own Oasis-penned tracks when they hit the road to promote debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding‘.

However, Liam has said that is likely to change when the band re-emerge with their second studio album sometime late next year or early 2013.

“It takes balls to go onstage and not play Oasis songs,” he told LA Weekly. “I don’t miss those songs yet, but we’re definitely going to play them on the next tour.”

Liam didn’t go into details as to which Oasis tracks they have in mind, but his own singles ‘Songbird‘ and ‘I’m Outta Time‘ are likely to be prime candidates for the Beady Eye setlist in the future.
