Coldplay‘s appearance on the live final of X Factor last weekend appears to have had the desired effect, with their latest album ‘Mylo Xyloto‘ climbing five place on the UK Album Chart this week to stand at no.3, while the single ‘Paradise‘ has also risen five places on the Singles Chart to #2.

With the festive season just around the corner, Michael Buble‘s imaginatively titled ‘Christmas‘ is the number one album tonight.
