Alex James: ‘Blur Wouldn’t Get Signed Today’

Popular cheese maker and occasional Blur bass player Alex James has said he doesn’t believe his former band would achieve a record deal if they had emerged into today’s music scene.

Guns n Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers Inducted Into Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Guns n Roses and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been announced as the newest inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

The two US bands will be joined by The Beastie Boys at the ceremony, and the news is likely to intensify rumours that the classic Guns n Roses line-up – Axl Rose, Slash and all – could be ready to reunite on stage to celebrate the honour.

Queen To Tour With American Idol Singer?

Organiser Rules Out The Stone Roses For Reading / Leeds 2012

Melvyn Benn, the organiser of the Reading / Leeds festivals, has ruled out an emotional return to the event for The Stone Roses next year, but has left the door open for the band to headline at a future date.
