Snow Patrol Denied Top Spot On UK Album Chart

Snow Patrol have been kept off the top spot of the UK Album Chart this week by crooner Michael Buble‘s festive record ‘Christmas‘.

Snow Patrol had been top when the midweek charts were announced last Wednesday, but subsequent sales have meant ‘Fallen Empires‘ has had to settle for a number three debut.

Elsewhere, Coldplay‘s latest release ‘Mylo Xyloto‘ has climbed to #4, and R.E.M‘s career retrospective has achieved a top 20 place.
