Debut albums from UK guitar-led acts Noel Gallagher, The Vaccines and Beady Eye are amongst the top selling of 2011, according to figures released by the Official Chart Company.
Noel Gallagher’s first solo effort ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ is at #3, with his former Oasis bandmates Beady Eye at no.6. The Vaccines‘ own successful debut, ‘What Did You Expect From…‘ is currently the fourth biggest selling debut of the year.
The list is topped by popstar Jessie J, whose record ‘Who You Are‘ was released last February, giving it a significant head-start on some of the albums featured in the top 10.
