Paul Weller has confirmed the details of his eleventh solo studio album, which will be released early next year, reports Stereoboard.
Weller’s latest studio effort will be entitled ‘Sonik Kicks‘, and is due to hit the shelves on March 26th 2012, and will comprise fourteen new tracks, though not last August’s single ‘Starlite‘.
Weller will preview the new album with two shows at London’s Roundhouse venue on March 18th and 19th next year, and is apparently in talks to appear with Noel Gallagher at the Edinburgh Castle the following July.
‘Sonik Kicks’ is the eagerly anticipated follow up to 2010′s ‘Wake Up The Nation‘. The culmination of a series of critically acclaimed releases from Weller in recent years, the album was nominated for that year’s Mercury Music Prize, ultimately losing out to The xx.
