Band Of Skulls will replace Miles Kane on the London leg of next month’s XFM Winter Wonderland after the solo star withdrew due to a date-clash with his spot supporting Kasabian at the O2 Arena.
“I regret that due to my show with Kasabian, I will not be able to appear at the Xfm Winter Wonderland show at Brixton,” Kane said. “I’m really disappointed to miss out on performing with such a great line-up of acts and celebrating another great year for Xfm. Have a fantastic evening and thank you for all your support this year.”
A firm Live4ever favourite since we witnessed the band’s storming 2010 SXSW stint, Band Of Skulls will release their new album ‘Sweet Sour‘ on February 21st 2012 via their own Electric Blues Records label.
The trio will then begin a US tour, supported by the excellent We Are Augustines, at the world famous Antone’s venue in Austin on March 13th.
