Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and Adele are amongst leading stars from the entertainment world who have been named on a list of the richest people in the UK under the age of 30.
As the chief songwriter of one of the UK’s most successful rock bands of the last decade, Alex Turner has reportedly amassed a fortune of £9.1 million, putting him 13th on a list which is topped by Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, who is said to be worth around £52 million.
Having comfortably enjoyed the biggest selling album of 2011 with ‘21‘, Adele has been placed at 16th with a personal wealth of £7.7 million, while Florence Welch, whose debut ‘Lungs‘ has also enjoyed huge sales over the past 18 months, is 29th with £3.8 million in the bank.
Other music stars included in the list are Craig David, who is ninth with a fortune said to be worth around £9.7 million, and Joss Stone, who has recently joined forces with Sir Mick Jagger in the new supergroup SuperHeavy.
The list has been compiled and printed by the British celebrity magazine Heat.
