The video has been posted on the new website Wannabuyavan.com, and features How I Met Your Mother star Bob Odenkirk’s efforts to record an advert for an El Camino car.
At the end of the video, the details become apparent, when the words ‘The Black Keys. El Camino. December 6’ appear on screen.
‘El Camino‘ is the follow up to 2010’s brilliant ‘Brothers‘ LP, and has previously been described by the band as being heavily influenced by The Clash. Although Odenkirk has not been good enough to unveil a tracklisting, ‘Little Black Submarine‘ and ‘Lonely Boy‘ are expected to feature.
The Black Keys’ 2012 European tour will bring them to the UK for four dates next February. Beginning on the 3rd of that month at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena, they will move on to Manchester and Edinburgh before a final date on British shores at London’s Alexandra Palace on February 10th.
