U2, Coldplay, Foo Fighters Named On VH1′s ’100 Greatest Songs Of The 00s’

U2, Coldplay and the Foo Fighters are amongst the bands to have made VH1‘s rundown of the ‘Greatest Songs Of The 00s’.

U2 were one of the highest placed rock bands on a list dominated by pop and R n B, with their 2000 single ‘Beautiful Day‘ coming in at #15, while Coldplay‘s single ‘Clocks‘ is two places back at #17.

Foo Fighters make the list thanks to their track ‘Best Of You‘, while fellow US heavyweights Kings Of Leon are also included with their commercial breakthrough ‘Sex On Fire‘ at #48.

Beyonce‘s ‘Crazy In Love‘ was placed first on the countdown, with OutKast‘s ‘Hey Ya‘ and Lady Gaga‘s ‘Poker Face‘ completing the top three.

10. 50 Cent – ‘In Da Club’

    What sick fuck created that list? If that top10 was really the best of what was pushed out there on the market, then it’s obvious the industry needs a kick in the ass.
