After US star Bob Odenkirk told the world of the title and release date of their new album via a car advert yesterday (October 11th), The Black Keys have now confirmed the tracklisting for their forthcoming album.
‘El Camino‘, due for release in December, will contain eleven new tracks, recorded and produced by the duo at singer / guitarist Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville.
The Black Keys have also added some extra dates to a previously announced 2012 tour. Further dates in Manchester on February 7th and London on February 9th will now join earlier confirmed stops in Nottingham and Edinburgh.
‘El Camino’ is the follow up to 2010’s ‘Brothers‘ album. Perhaps best displaying The Black Keys’ brand of rootsy, hook heavy blues, the record found favour with fans and critics alike, picking up the Best Alternative Album at the 2011 Grammy Awards.
