Robert Plant, Mumford & Sons Pick Up Americana Awards

Robert Plant‘s Band Of Joy collective have picked up the Album Of The Year at the 10th Annual Americana Music Association Honors and Awards, held in Nashville last night (October 13th).

The self-titled Band Of Joy album has enjoyed significant acclaim since its release in September last year, and featured prominently in many publications’ end of year lists.

Elsewhere, British folk rockers Mumford & Sons continued their own run of recognition State-side, picking up the gong for New/Emerging Artist after a year which has seen their debut album ‘Sigh No More‘ make waves on both sides of the Atlantic.
