Manic Street Preachers have made their 1991 single ‘Love’s Sweet Exile‘ available for free download via online retailer Amazon as they prepare to release ‘National Treasures‘ at the end of this month.
‘Love’s Sweet Exile’ was the second promo to be lifted from the Welsh band’s debut album ‘Generation Terrorists‘, and is now up for download at this link. The track is just one of 38 career-spanning singles which comprise ‘National Treasures’, due for release on October 31st.
In addition, the Manics have also unveiled a brand new biography which sees each of the 38 singles featured on ‘National Treasures’ being narrated by a collection journalists, public figures and personalities, which include Phill Jupitus, actor Michael Sheen, and 6Music DJs Stuart Maconie and Steve Lamacq. The biography can be read here.
An ambitious, two-hour plus gig is planned for December at London’s O2 Arena, when the singles collection will be aired in full, along with high production visuals during a scheduled interval.
