Liam Gallagher‘s successful clothing range Pretty Green will join forces with The Who to celebrate the imminent reissue of Quadrophenia – The Director’s Cut.

With its inspiration largely taken from the mod culture and fashion of the 60s, a youth movement immortalised in the ‘Quadrophenia‘ album and film, the collaboration is undoubtedly a natural one, and Pretty Green have announced their new, limited edition design of the famous ‘Jimmy’ parka, which features on the 1973 album’s sleeve.

Speaking of the hook up, Liam Gallagher has said: “As I’m a massive fan of The Who, and ‘Quadrophenia’ being one of my favourite albums of all time, it’s an honour to be associated.”

In addition to the parka, Pretty Green’s London Carnaby Street store will also showcase Pete Townshend’s extensive archive of notes, desk diaries, photos and original lyrics from the making of the album, as well as album artwork and outtakes.

A launch party is planned for October 26th, with the exhibition opening to the public a day later.
