UK chart sensation Adele has revealed she would like to collaborate with folk-rockers Mumford & Sons.
The two British acts have enjoyed significant success of both sides of the Atlantic this year, and Adele has now said she would love to sing on a future Mumford & Sons track.
“In terms of singing on a track alongside someone, I’d love to collaborate with Mumford and Sons because Marcus Mumford‘s voice goes straight through me,” she is quoted in The Sun. “It reminds me of the first time that I heard Etta James and how that made me feel.”
Mumford & Sons’ 2010 debut ‘Sigh No More‘ proved to be one of the most commercially successful British exports of recent times after their appearance at the Grammy Awards earlier this year pushed them into the US mainstream.
However, Adele’s second album ‘21‘ has comfortably surpassed even Mumford & Sons’ international achievements, breaking chart performance records in both countries since its release in January.
