Eddie Vedder was joined on stage by a host of rock stars during a two day, Pearl Jam-curated festival organised to celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary, reports Ultimate Classic Rock.

The festival was held at Wisconsin’s Alpine Valley Music Theatre during last weekend, and began with Vedder joining The Strokes onstage for a run-through of the New York band’s 2005 single ‘Juicebox‘, a fan-video of which can be viewed below.

Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas then returned the favour, taking to the stage with Vedder for a rendition of Pearl Jam’s 1995 track ‘Not For You‘.

Queens Of The Stone Age
mainman Josh Homme is not usually one to miss out on a good collaboration, and he was indeed in attendance with Pearl Jam for ‘In The Moonlight‘, while Soundgarden‘s Chris Cornell, Mudhoney and Dhani Harrison also played their part in the weekend of guest spots.

A Pearl Jam documentary, entitled Pearl Jam Twenty, is to be screened at 75 cinemas across the UK on September 20th, with the film’s soundtrack due for release a day earlier.
