The Boxer Rebellion have announced the largest UK headline show of their career to date.

The band will perform at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on September 29th, confirming an astonishing rise since the independent release of second album ‘Union‘ in 2009.

Earlier this year, The Boxer Rebellion returned with ‘The Cold Still‘, another collection of stirring, understated rock anthems which continued the momentum garnered from ‘Union’ and was placed at number one on the Live4ever Ezine‘s summer countdown of the essential albums of 2011.

In addition to the London date, the group will launch a North American tour in Edmonton on October 17th, which Todd Howe recently exclusively told us is something the band are very much looking forward to.

“We love touring America and we’re really glad to be coming back again for our biggest tour and at bigger venues,” he said. “It means a lot after all these years that we can finally do it and it makes such a difference when it’s all heading in the right direction.”
