Slash is to release a new live album in November which was recorded at the former Guns n Roses guitarist’s gig at Stoke’s Victoria Hall last July.

Entitled ‘Made In Stoke 24/7/11‘, the album will be released on November 14th, and will be available as both a double CD and a CD/DVD combo. The DVD will feature five bonus tracks and an interview with the man himself.

Slash’s Stoke gig, which saw him returning to the city where he was raised until the age of five, took in a career-spanning set which included Gun n Roses classics ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine‘ and ‘Paradise City‘.

Also aired were a selection of songs lifted from Slash’s 2010 debut solo album. Work on the follow up is already underway, with the guitarist telling Planet Rock earlier this year he is writing with Alter Bridge‘s Myles Kennedy:

“Myles and I have been writing all throughout the tour so we’ve got a lot of material, and at this point we’re probably gonna start a little bit of pre-production in June and then do the tour in July.”
