Coldplay‘s headline appearances at last summer’s Glastonbury and T In The Park festivals have been voted the best of another busy UK summer season by listeners of BBC 6Music.

The British band finished ahead of The National‘s spot at Latitude, while Reading / Leeds headliners Muse and Pulp were voted in at #3 and #4 respectively.

Elsewhere, U2‘s Claw-less, rain drenched Friday night gig at Glastonbury was the 6Music listeners’ ninth favourite of the summer, while Kasabian and Kings Of Leon saw their Isle Of Wight appearances come in at #17 and #18.
