Coldplay have announced three UK arena dates for December as they prepare to release new album ‘Mylo Xyloto‘ next month.
The first show will be held at Glasgow’s SECC on December 3rd. The band will then move south of the border for a gig at the MEN Arena a day later, with a stop at London’s O2 Arena following on December 9th.
Due for release on October 24th, more concrete details on ‘Mylo Xyloto’ have begun to emerge in recent days, with Coldplay confirming its tracklisting and debuting new single ‘Paradise‘ last week.
Frontman Chris Martin has also expanded on reports of popstar Rihanna featuring on the record, telling The Sun newspaper: “The album is designed as a whole piece. It has boy and girl lead characters and top of our list for the girl part was Rihanna, but it took a while to pluck up the courage to ask her. We did a show in Las Vegas and I met her and said, ‘Do you think there’s any chance?’ I was very Hugh Grant-like and spluttering about it.”
