Chapel Club have announced a series of UK dates for October as they extend promotional duties following the release of debut album ‘Palace‘ earlier this year.
The London band will expand on previous sold-out headline shows and festival appearances across the UK with eight new gigs, beginning at Manchester’s Sound Control on October 10th.
A sole Scotland date will arrive a day later at Edinburgh’s Cabaret Voltaire, with a large homecoming stop at the Shepherds Bush Empire wrapping things up on October 18th, where support will come from the sublime Other Lives.
Chapel Club’s earnest, New Wave-inspired tracks have been met with favourable reviews from critics, as ‘Palace’ skillfully expanded on the promise of early single ‘Surfacing‘ to confirm the band’s status as one of 2011’s brightest new British acts.
