Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ Celebrated At London Exhibition Next Month

nevermindLondon’s The Loading Bay Gallery is to host a special exhibition surrounding Nirvana‘s landmark album ‘Nevermind‘ next month as part of the celebrations marking the record’s 20th anniversary.

Relevant photos, memorabilia and artifacts will be on display, as well as contributions from fans which are currently being sought; those who feel they have something to offer the exhibition can find out more information at Nirvanaexhibition.com.

Though an exact date has yet to be confirmed for the event, the exhibition will take place in September, the same month that a new, limited edition super-deluxe version of the album will be released (Sept 12th).

Containing four CDs and a DVD, the new format, limited to around 40,000 copies worldwide, will include the original album remastered in full, studio and live b-sides, rehearsal takes and a new mix of the record by producer Butch Vig, which will offer a fresh perspective on well established tracks which were first mixed by Andy Wallace.
