Los Campesinos! will release their fourth studio album ‘Hello Sadness‘ on November 14th, it has been announced. The album has been recorded with producer John Goodmanson in Girona, Spain.
Commenting on the new record, the band described a bitter-sweet tale of ‘ten songs of love, loss and heartbreak.’
“‘Hello Sadness’ is ten songs of love, loss and heartbreak nail-gunned to a back-drop of broken, tangled bodies, creeping, dead-eyed animals, suffocating, looming shadows and World Cup exits,” they said. “It is an honest, bare bones documentation of breaking up and trying not to break up in the process.”
In announcing the album, the Welsh band have also revealed violinist Harriet will depart after a scheduled show at Bestival in order to concentrate on her studies.
‘Hello Sadness’ tracklist:
‘By Your Hand’
