Libertines and Babyshambles songwriter Pete Doherty has spoken for the first time about the untimely death of his good friend Amy Winehouse, saying he is finding it ‘almost impossible’ to come to terms with the news.
Suede frontman Brett Anderson has confirmed the details of his latest solo album ‘Black Rainbows‘.
Due for release on September 26th, and preceded by the previously announced single ‘Brittle Heart‘, the album has been described as ‘restless, noisy and dynamic’ by Anderson, who has also outlined the record’s back-to-basics approach, saying it features ‘electric guitars, bass, drums and vocals – no flute players, no strings, no gimmicks, just passion’.
Dance/rock collective Death In Vegas will tour the UK this December as rumours of their first studio album since 2004 continue to grow.
The tour will be launched at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut on December 3rd, moving south of the border two days later for a show at the Leeds Cockpit. The jaunt will be wrapped up at the London Electric Ballroom on December 15th.
