Artists who enjoyed successful shows at last weekend’s Glastonbury festival feature heavily on this week’s UK Album chart, with Sunday headliner Beyonce topping the charts with new album ‘4‘.
UK newcomer Jessie J, who performed at Worthy Farm with a broken foot, climbs to #6, while Mumford & Sons, whose Friday set enjoyed significant coverage on the BBC, climbs nine places to re-enter the Top 20 (#17). Elsewhere, other Glastonbury performers including Cee Lo Green and Noah & The Whale also enjoyed a sales boost this week.
