Dave Grohl halted the Foo Fighters‘ iTunes festival gig last night (July 11th) to have a fan ejected after a fight broke out in the mosh pit at London’s Roundhouse venue.
The scuffle erupted during the Foo’s rendition of new single ‘Walk‘, taken from recent album ‘Wasting Light‘, causing Grohl to stop mid-song and tell the crowd: “I don’t put up with that bulls**t – you people came here to have a good time and that guy can **** off.”
Those who were able to stick around were treated to a sporadic feature of Foo Fighters’ live sets – a cover of Queen‘s 1977 single ‘Tie Your Mother Down‘, which was last night performed with the aid of Brian May and Roger Taylor.
The iTunes spot follows hot on the heels of Foo Fighters’ headline date at T In The Park last weekend, when they closed the festival in style with a raucous celebration of their hit-laden career.
