The Drums To Release Second Album In September

New York band The Drums will release their second album ‘Portamento‘ on September 12th. The follow up to last year’s self-titled debut, a single, ‘Money‘, will precede a week earlier on the 5th.

The album will be the band’s first since a re-ordering of their line up in the wake of guitarist Adam Kessler‘s departure in 2010.

Marianne Faithful Doubts The Accuracy Of Keith Richards’ Autobiography

Marianne Faithful has revealed she doubts the veracity of elements of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards‘ autobiography Life – particularly the well publicised portions which refer to his often fractured relationship with Mick Jagger.

In an interview with Spinner, Faithful was asked whether the book constitutes an accurate portrayal of their history, to which she replied: “Not completely accurate, no, but I liked it very much. I don’t think accuracy really matters.”

Dave Grohl Has Fan Ejected During Foo Fighters’ iTunes Gig

Dave Grohl halted the Foo Fighters‘ iTunes festival gig last night (July 11th) to have a fan ejected after a fight broke out in the mosh pit at London’s Roundhouse venue.

The scuffle erupted during the Foo’s rendition of new single ‘Walk‘, taken from recent album ‘Wasting Light‘, causing Grohl to stop mid-song and tell the crowd: “I don’t put up with that bulls**t – you people came here to have a good time and that guy can **** off.”
