Sheffield duo Slow Club have today announced the details of their new album, the follow up to 2009 debut ‘Yeah So‘.
‘Paradise‘ is to be released through Moshi Moshi records on September 12th, and has been produced by Foals cohort Luke Smith. The ten-track record will be preceded by the single ‘Two Cousins‘.
Released in July 2009, ‘Yeah So’ was a delightful slice of folk-tinged pop, whose single ‘Giving Up On Love‘ was a part of Live4ever’s retrospective Essential Listening rundown last year.
The duo also plan to head out on a UK tour from September, beginning at the Bodega Social Club, Nottingham on the 12th. A hometown show at Sheffield’s Leadmill venue will follow on the 16th.
