Pulp made their major live UK comeback at the Isle Of Wight festival last night, performing a crowd pleasing greatest hits set at their first British gig since 2002.

The set was opened by the band’s 1994 single ‘Do You Remember The First Time?‘, while their classic album ‘Different Class‘ was strongly represented by the likes of ‘Disco 2000‘, ‘Something Changed‘, ‘Sorted For E’s and Wizz‘ and the perennial Britpop anthem ‘Common People‘. The epic ‘Sunrise‘ taken from the Sheffield group’s final studio album ‘We Love Life‘, was also given an airing.

Pulp will now move on to London’s Wireless festival on July 3rd and the T In The Park festival on July 10th. They will then alternate headline spots with My Chemical Romance at the Reading/Leeds festivals on August 27th and 28th, topping the bill at the Leeds leg.
