Morrissey Streams Three Tracks Set For New Album

morrissey 396294aMorrissey has begun streaming a selection of tracks expected to appear on his next studio album, which were debuted during a recent BBC Radio 2 session.

The former Smiths frontman is currently on the look out for a record label to distribute his new record, but has in the meantime allowed fans to sample ‘Action Is My Middle Name‘, ‘The Kid’s a Looker‘ and ‘People Are The Same Everywhere‘.

Morrissey recently confirmed the completion of his tenth solo effort via a statement released on fansite True To You, which read: “The follow-up to ‘Years Of Refusal’ is ready and fluttering wildly against the bars. There is still no record label and the years shuffle like cards. My talents do not lie in DIY.”

Morrissey is due to perform immediately before headliners U2 on the opening day of this month’s Glastonbury festival, whose Friday bill also includes the likes of Biffy Clyro and Two Door Cinema Club.
