Kasabian Debut New Songs At Live Comeback

Kasabian handed debuts to two new songs during their first live performance of 2011 as their short UK tour kicked off in Sheffield last night (June 4th).

Switchblade Smile‘, which will receive its official premiere on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show on June 7th, was aired for the first time along with fellow new track ‘Velociraptor‘.




The set was kicked off with the band’s perennial live favourite ‘Club Foot‘, while the best of previous album ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum‘ were all included, such as ‘Underdog‘, ‘Vlad The Impaler‘, ‘Fast Fuse‘ and closer ‘Fire‘.

Kasabian’s UK tour is due to continue at the Leeds Academy tomorrow night, with dates in Manchester and Wolverhampton following. They will then headline the Isle Of Wight festival on Sunday, June 12th, with close friends Beady Eye playing immediately before.
