The full line-up for this year’s Glasgowbury Music Festival has been announced and includes a whopping 51 acts spread across five stages.

The independent Northern Irish festival takes place on Eagle’s Rock, atop the Sperrin mountains in Draperstown on July 23rd this year.

Cashier No. 9 had previously been announced as this year’s festival headliners while The Answer, Foy Vance, Boxcutter, Phil Kieran, LaFaro, Mojo Fury and many more had also been confirmed.

Organisers have now topped up those numbers by announcing a slab of local talent who join the festival bill including Kowalski, Colly Strings, Jason Clarke, Phoenix Fire and many more.

The new additions to this year’s bill are:
Fred, Le Galaxie, Paul Shevlin, A Plastic Rose, Paul Casey, The Bonnevilles, Preacher’s Son, Kowalski, Seven Summits, Rachel Austin, Intermission, Gascan Ruckus, Kasper Rosa, Aaron Shanley, Dead Til Friday, Colly Strings, The Plea, Pocket Billiards, Team Fresh, Katie & The Carnival, Elspeth, Pat Dam Smyth, The 1930s, Phoenix Fire, Allie Bradley, Jason Clarke, Dolbro Dan, John D’Arcy, Paddy Nash, Sweet Jane… and special guests.

Also, for the first time this year the festival will boast a comedy stage with a mix of established and up and coming talent including Joe Rooney (Father Damo), John Collleary, Colin Geddis (I Am Fighter) and many more.

Entering its 11th year, Glasgowbury has pulled out all the stops for its Sperrins spectacular and organisers are hopeful that there will be something for everyone.

Tickets for the summer bash are on sale now from hmvtickets.com, from HMV stores throughout Ireland and from Music Master in Omagh and are locked at last year’s prices of £30 (festival only) and £40 (festival and camping).
