Elbow have announced a clutch of North American tour dates in support of their new album ‘Build a Rocket Boys!‘.
The band will visit major US cities such as Washington, New York and Los Angeles during the eight-date tour, as well as hitting Canada for a show at the Sound Academy in Toronto on September 28th.
Elbow’s stripped back, retrospective approach on ‘Build a Rocket Boys!’ has again carried favour with critics, while the album’s performance on the UK charts shows a continuation of the genuine commercial success first achieved with previous effort ‘The Seldom Seen Kid‘.
The US tour will follow various European festival appearances this summer, including a spot at the Reading/Leeds festival towards the end of August. In addition, the group will support Coldplay on the Saturday evening at this month’s Glastonbury event.
