The full line-up for this year’s Glasgowbury Music Festival has been announced and includes a whopping 51 acts spread across five stages.

Mercury-nominated band The Horrors will tour the UK throughout October, in support of new album ‘Skying‘, due for release on July 11th via XL Recordings.

Beady Eye will release their third single from debut album ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding‘ next month.

Foster The People are the latest hotly tipped success story to spill out of California and on to the summer festival circuit.

With a top 50 placing on Australia’s annual prestigious Triple J Hottest 100, and a second year running tear away performance at SXSW festival, Foster The People seems well on its way to needing no plan B – which is not bad going, seeing as the band formed as recently as October 2009.

The unique venue of Chester Racecourse hosts the first ever Chester Rocks event on the 2nd and 3rd of July, covering two days of music with a line-up to entertain both the family and regular gig-goer.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are to release their new album in August, the band have confirmed.
