Kasabian have announced their return to the live stage in the UK will begin with a short indoor tour this June.

The Leicester band, who are due to release their new album in October, will play Sheffield, Leeds, Wolverhampton and Manchester ahead of a scheduled headline appearance at the Isle Of Wight festival later that month.

Kasabian have again been working with producer Dan the Automator on their new material, following a successful collaboration on 2009’s ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum‘. The album is said to be being mixed in San Francisco after recording sessions in London.

Guitarist Serge Pizzorno recently outlined the make-up of the record to thisisleicester.co.uk, saying: “Well, it’s epic. It’s big songs that make you feel like anything’s possible. It’s a really positive record. I suppose it’s a combination of all three records but we’ve just taken it a bit further.”

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday (May 6th).
