Jarvis Cocker Admits To Nerves Ahead Of Pulp’s Live Comeback

jarvisPulp frontman Jarvis Cocker has admitted his nerves are intensifying as the Sheffield band prepare to make their live return for a series of summer festival appearances, beginning tonight at the Primavera Sound event.

In an interview with BBC 6Music, the first since announcing their reformation back in November, Jarvis explained the ‘anxiety dreams’ that he has been experiencing during the build up to their comeback.

“I’ve had a few anxiety dreams already,” he said. “The favourite is usually wandering through a festival, then looking at your watch and realising you should have been on stage ten minutes ago. I’ve not had the one of being naked on stage yet.”

Pulp’s live comeback was made on Wednesday (May 25th), when they performed their first gig since 2002 in Toulouse, France. Fans were treated to a career-spanning greatest hits set ahead of their festival dates, which includes spots at Isle Of Wight, Wireless and T In The Park.
