Young Rebel Set have unveiled details of their debut album, which will be released in June 2011 via Big Flame Records.
Entitled ‘Curse Our Love‘, the record’s opening track ‘Lion’s Mouth‘ will also be issued as a digital download on May 22nd.
Young Rebel Set released their debut single ‘If I Was‘ in August 2009, and describe the album as a result of ‘…three years hard graft. Three years of schlepping across the country in the back of a van. Three years of missing home. Three years of relationships gone belly up because of the band. Three years of non-stop writing, playing, recording, gigging. Three years of packing crates, plastering ceilings, clocking in and working any job you can just to keep the band going. Three years of an unshakable belief that this record is worth sacrificing everything for.’
In addition, Young Rebel Set will begin a European tour tonight (March 30th) in Berlin, and are due to hit the UK with a date at Peter Hook‘s FAC251 Manchester venue on April 6th.
