The Kills will begin a UK tour at the end of May, as they gear up for the release of new album ‘Blood Pressures‘.
Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince will start proceedings at the Manchester Central Methodist Hall on May 27th, and will visit cities including Oxford, Glasgow and Leeds. The duo will then hit London for the final date at The Roundhouse on June 3rd.
‘Blood Pressures‘ will be released on April 4th, after The Kills began work on the record back in September 2009. With the recording completed in January, they have now made the new track ‘DNA‘ available as a free download from TheKills.tv. The LP will be their first since 2008’s widely praised ‘Midnight Boom‘.
The new dates follow a previously announced appearance at London’s Heaven venue, due to take place shortly before the new album’s release on March 31st.
