Former Jam legend Paul Weller and White Lies have been announced as the main support acts for Kings Of Leon‘s forthcoming London outdoor shows this summer.
Weller and White Lies will provide the support at Hyde Park on June 22nd and 23rd, with Weller enthusing: “I’m really looking forward to playing the 2 nights in my home town at Hyde Park with Kings of Leon. They will be the only shows I’m doing for the rest of this year so we’ll make sure they are top!”
Grammy Awards winners the Zac Brown Band will also perform over the course of the two nights, which are part of a huge summer for Kings Of Leon, including further outdoor gigs in Coventry, Sunderland, Manchester and Edinburgh, as well as a scheduled festival appearance at Isle Of Wight.
The Nashville band will also perform their re-arranged gig at the London O2 Arena on June 20th, which was originally cancelled late last year due to a fire on the venue’s premises.
