London indie outfit The Maccabees and Blur guitarist Graham Coxon lead the first round of acts to be confirmed for this year’s Summer Sundae festival.
The festival is due to take place at Leicester’s Victoria Park between August 12th–14th, and will also see performances from the likes of The Bees and Little Comets, who’s debut album ‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets‘ was released in January.
The Summer Sundae festival has grown into one of the UK’s premier regional events since its introduction in 2001, and was headlined last year by Mumford & Sons, Seasick Steve and Tinchy Stryder, while in 2006 the event boasted an impressive three-day line-up which included appearances from Elbow, Gomez and Belle & Sebastian.
Early Bird weekend tickets for the festival are available until April 4th, priced at £105.
