White Lies Announce North American Spring Tour

London’s White Lies are thrilled to announce that they’ll be kicking off a spring run of stateside dates this May with the rescheduled New York City show happening on May 19 at Terminal 5. The 7 city run in support of their sophomore release, Ritual, will see the band giving their fans on this side of the ocean a taste of their new music in their exciting live show! From tour kick off in Boston at Paradise Rock Club on May 17 the band will hit major markets across the East Coast and Southern States before wrapping in Mexico City on May 26. White Lies made a major splash with their incredibly enigmatic 2009 debut, To Lose My Life and their highly anticipated sophomore effort Ritual is already a smash success. With high profile appearances on the likes of The Tonight Show and sold out gigs stateside this past January, you won’t want to miss your chance to snag tickets when White Lies play a city near you this spring. White Lies’ debut To Lose My Life launched these childhood friends (Harry McVeigh, Jack Brown, Charles Cave) from West London straight into the spotlight both on our shores as well as overseas and landed them a # 1 record in the UK as well as the honorable distinction of being MOJO’s Breakthrough Artist of 2009 and Q’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year (2009). Stateside they played to massive crowds at Coachella and Lollapalooza and found themselves performing on the Late Show with Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel Live. A heavy touring band, White Lies have spent the past two years on the road playing both headlining sets as well as supporting slots with artists like Coldplay and Kings of Leon. After a recent gig opening for Muse this past September at Wembley Stadium where the band launched through an incendiary set of both new and old tunes to an audience of 100,000.
