The New York Dolls

The New York Dolls is a New York based post punk rock band, formed in 1971. In 2004 the band reformed with three of their original members, two of whom, David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain, continue on today and have released two records of new material. The original bassist, Arthur Kane, died shortly after their first reunion concert.Their fifth album, Dancing Backward in High Heels, featuring new guitarist Frank Infante (formerly of Blondie) will be released on March 15, 2011.
