Manic Street Preachers have added three UK arena dates to their 2011 schedule as they continue the promotion of recent album ‘Postcards From a Young Man‘.
Following a large British tour which was brought to a close at the end of last year, the Manics will now visit the Llandudno Cymru Arena on May 18th, before moving on to the Wolverhampton Civic Hall (19th) and a second show on hometurf at Cardiff’s International Arena on the 21st.
The Manic Street Preachers declared they were having ‘one last shot at mass communication’ with the release of their tenth studio record in September 2010, and were certainly to be found communicating with the masses not long after when they were booked to appear on the BBC‘s popular Saturday evening show Strictly Come Dancing.
The album garnered favourable reviews from critics, and has to date spawned three singles, the most recent of which, the LP’s title-track, is due for release at the end of this month.
