Florence + The Machine’s success in the United States seems to have no intention of slowing down. After performing at last night’s 2011 Grammy Awards as well as the Oscars and Elton John’s annual Oscar party on February 27th, Florence Welch and her very talented Machine are pleased to announce shows this summer in the United States. She’ll be headlining venues across the country, as well as garnering a prestigious opening slot for U2 at select dates.
For the upcoming tour, Florence + the Machine is partnering exclusively with Gilt City (Gilt Groupe’s newest luxury site that provides its members insider access to the best a city has to offer) to sell advance tickets to shows in 9 cities throughout the US. Members of the site will be offered the chance to pay $75 for a pre-sale ticket AND a limited edition poster designed by Florence.
