Rock veterans The Eagles and Killers frontman Brandon Flowers are amongst the first acts to be confirmed for this year’s Hop Farm festival, which will take place this July in Kent.
Other artists also confirmed for the event are Bryan Ferry, 10cc and Death Cab For Cutie. Organiser Vince Powell is hoping the 2011 edition of the festival will continue its growth. “Really happy to start to announce the Hop Farm’s line up, now in it’s 4th year,” he said.
“After last year’s success with Bob Dylan and Mumford and Sons to name but a few of the huge acts, it’s my opinion that the Hop Farm is well and truly on the UK festival map and will go from strength to strength as one of the few independent festivals left in the country.”
Tickets for the weekend are on sale now priced at £120, while day tickets can be purchased for £70.
