Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys are to join the previously announced Foo Fighters as headliners at this summer’s T in the Park festival, while Beady Eye are also set to appear at the event.
In addition, recently reformed Pulp have been added to the line-up, while Brit Awards winners Tinie Tempah, Jessie J and Plan B are set for performances.
After confirming the year’s impressive headliners, festival director Geoff Ellis spoke of his delight at the bookings. “I’m really pleased with our artist announcements and proud to deliver a whole host of bands including many that T in the Park fans told us they wanted to see when we surveyed them post event,” he remarked.
“We’re delighted that T in the Park is the festival that bands want to play at and music lovers want to be at. I can’t wait to open up the campsite gates in July and welcome back the T in the Park community – bring on Balado 2011.”
T in the Park consistently commands one of the standout bills of the UK festival season, and was headlined last year by Eminem, Muse and Kasabian.
